Welcome to UNAA - Atlanta Chapter

Founded in March 1998 by local community members, the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA) – Atlanta was born from a shared vision to create a unified platform for connection, support, and mutual uplift. Our association is a vibrant hub for Ugandans and friends of Uganda across the greater Atlanta area including parts of,Tennessee, and Alabama regions. We are brought together by our shared heritage and values, and we work to celebrate our culture, foster unity, and empower each other in all social, cultural, and economic pursuits.

Our goal is to:

  • Nurture a strong sense of fellowship and cultivate meaningful relationships.

  • Actively preserve and promote our Ugandan heritage.

  • Help our members navigate unique opportunities and challenges by providing a dedicated space for growth and support.

We Achieve This By:

  • Hosting a range of social, cultural, and networking events to facilitate valuable connections and collaboration.

  • Serving as a trusted resource for information and a catalyst for professional partnerships.

Our ultimate goal is to honor our heritage, empower every member, and enrich our broader community.
